Four Wellesley Athletes Earn Fall All-Sportsmanship Selections

WESTWOOD, Mass. - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has revealed the 2021 Fall All-Sportsmanship selections. Wellesley senior Tiffany Shou of the volleyball team earned the honor for the second time.

Wellesley Recipients:

Women's Cross Country: Emily Wall '24 (Stuyvesant, N.Y.)
Women's Soccer: Danika Heaney '23 (Palo Alto, Calif.)
Field Hockey: Maddie Bettencourt '22 (Virginia Beach, Va.)
Volleyball: Tiffany Shou '22 (San Jose, Calif.)

The All-Sportsmanship Team award is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each institution in every sport that best demonstrates the ideals of the NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct, regardless of their overall performance or statistics for the season. In total, there were 64 fall honorees from each team of the seven fall NEWMAC sports.
