Wellesley Athletics to Host Hall of Fame Ceremony, Blue Nation Tailgate on Saturday

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley Athletics will host the 2022 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner during Wellesley College Friends and Family Weekend, October 21-23, 2022. The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will honor the Classes of 2020 and 2022 on the evening of Saturday, October 22, following a day of athletics events and activities on campus.

Wellesley Athletics will host the first ever Blue Nation Tailgate on Saturday, October 22 from 12:00-2:00 PM. Students, families, friends and fans will have the opportunity to enjoy free snacks from food trucks, play lawn games, and take home a free pair of Wellesley sunglasses (while supplies last). Fans can then cheer on the Blue soccer team when they host Emerson at 1:00 PM. This year's Hall of Fame inductees will also be honored at halftime of the soccer game.

During Wellesley College Friends and Family Weekend, visitors to campus will have the opportunity to experience Wellesley traditions, enjoy student performances and games, tour the campus in new ways, and attend panels, open houses, and meet and greets. 10:00 AM: Varsity Softball Exhibition vs. Suffolk (Varsity Softball Field)

10:30 AM: Lacrosse Alum Game (Butler Stadium)

11:00 AM: Club Rugby vs. Eastern Connecticut (KSC Upper Field)

12:00 - 2:00 PM: Blue Nation Tailgate (Varsity Soccer Field)

• Come cheer on the Blue! We'll have lawn games, FREE athletics sunglassses, and food trucks for treats (while supplies last)!

1:00 PM: Varsity Soccer vs Emerson (Varsity Soccer Field)

2:00 PM: Varsity Softball Exhibition vs Nichols (Varsity Softball Field)
