In their four years as teammates on the Wellesley basketball team, the Blue amassed a record of 67-31 overall (.684 winning percentage). That record included two twenty-win seasons, with Wellesley going 21-4 in 1999-2000 and 22-5 in 2000-2001). The 1999-00 team was the first, and still the only, Wellesley team to advance to the NCAA Tournament and the 2000-01 team finished as New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) and Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) runner-up.

A 2000-01 Kodak National All-American, Amy Barao Kullar '01 is one of two basketball student-athletes in Wellesley history to earn All-American honors. Barao ranks third all-time in Wellesley history with 1,246 points scored following a career where she twice earned NEWMAC All-Conference honors (1998-1999 and 1999-2000) and was a two-time Seven Sisters All-Tournament selection (1999-2000 and 2000-2001). Barao was named a New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) All-Star as well as a senior game selection along with her sister Meg following their senior season in 2000-01. Amy Barao Kullar graduated as Wellesley's all-time leading 3-point shooter and played professionally for three years in Denmark.
