National Champion Dollmeyer Returns to Blue Crew Program as Assistant Coach

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Tessa Spillane, Head Crew Coach and PERA Associate Professor of the Practice at Wellesley College has announced the hiring of Sydney Dollmeyer '17 as Assistant Crew Coach.

A 2016 CRCA All-American, Dollmeyer was a member of Wellesley's 2016 NCAA National Championship team, rowing in the Varsity Eight that captured gold to propel the program to its first ever national title. A December 2016 graduate of Wellesley with a degree in Economics and International Relations, Dollmeyer spent last season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Northeastern Women's rowing team. She also attended Community Rowing Inc's (CRI) IRL Graduate Fellowship program and has rowed with CRI as a Fall Masters member and a part of the Women's U23 Summer squad.

Dollmeyer was a two-time All-Seven Sisters honoree at Wellesley while helping the program to four New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) titles and four NCAA Championship appearances.
