• Played club soccer for six year in France, captain for four years
• Played field hockey for two years and track & field for a year

Personal:

• Daughter of Andrew and Gina McGovern
• Born in Fort Collins, Colorado but moved to Germany a year after being born
• Lived in Germany for three years (mom is German and dad is American)
• Moved to France when she was four and has lived there ever since
• Has a 20-year-old brother, William (Billy), studying history and economics in Manchester, UK
• Has two dogs named Chuy and Lilia
• Chose Wellesley because she had a sense she would meet fascinating people with unique stories and outlooks, with whom she could build a close, long-lasting community. She also knew she could continue to grow here, becoming increasingly confident in her strengths while constantly learning from others; as a student, athlete or simply as a human being!
