Bio

2022-23:

• Helped the Blue place 27th against Division I competition at the Head of the Housatonic
• Part of 3rd Varsity 8+ boat that finished first in the NEWMAC Championship (7:05)
• Member of the 3rd Varsity 8+ boat that took fourth at the New England Rowing Championship
• Came in fifth in the 3rd Varsity 8+ final at the National Invitational Rowing Championship (7:04.841)

Before Wellesley:

• Attended TC Williams High School, graduated in 2021
• Was a TC varsity crew member for four years
• Member of the Old Dominion Boat Club for four years
• Helped team win a Gold Medal at Stotesbury (2018), a Silver Medal at Scholastic Rowing Association of America (SRAA) Nationals (2018) and a Silver Medal at Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association (VASRA) State Championships (2018).

Personal:

• Daughter of Laurén and Marc Carter
• Born in Morristown, N.J.
• Has a younger sister, Madison
• Father, Marc Carter, played basketball at Wagner College for a year
• Cousin, Jennifer Hines '93, attended Wellesley College

Why Wellesley:

• Chose to attend Wellesley because of the strong academics and the many traditions that bond the community of sisterhood together like Flower Sunday and cheering at Marathon Monday
