Wellesley Crew Places Third Against MIT, Boston University Lightweights

BOSTON, Mass. – Wellesley College crew competed against MIT and Division I Boston University Lightweights at the Charles River on Saturday morning. Blue Crew earned third place in all three events it raced in.

In the Varsity Eight Race (V8+), Wellesley took third with a time of 8:01.1. Boston University won the event with a time of 7:45.9.

Blue Crew placed third in the Second Varsity Eight (2V8+) with a time of 8:56.9. BU once again earned first with a winning time of 7:54.0.

Wellesley claimed third and fourth in the Third Varsity Eight event. Blue Crew's Third Varsity Eight (3V8+) boat rowed a time of 10:06.7 for third place. Fourth Varsity Eight (4V8+) finished fourth with a time of 11:29.1.

Next up, Blue Crew races at the Skidmore Sprints in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on Saturday, April 6.
