WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College crew recent graduate Katherine Moeser has been named to the 2024 CRCA All-America Second Team.

Moeser rowed in the Wellesley Varsity 8+ (V8+) throughout an outstanding four-year career. Moeser was a member of the V8+ at both the 2023 and 2022 NCAA Division III Championships, helping Wellesley to secure back-to-back NCAA Championships. Moser's career accolades include a spot in the V8+ boat that secured Wellesley's top time in program history at the 2022 Head Of The Charles as well as the program's first V8+ NIRC Championship in program history.

This spring, Moeser capped her career by representing the Blue at the National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC), New England Rowing Championships and NEWMAC Championships after helping the Blue to a tenth place finish during Head Of The Charles in the fall.

Each year the coaches of the CRCA recognize the outstanding student athletes in each Division. Wellesley has now received 25 All-Americans honors since the 2005-06 season.

Student-athletes must have rowed at least 75% of the season's races in the varsity boat and be nominated by the institution. Criteria considered for selection also includes: boat performance, nomination rank, coach's comments, individual achievements, and 2k erg score.
