Blue Fencing Team Releases 2022-23 Schedule

WELLESLEY, Mass. - The Wellesley College fencing team has announced the 2022-23 schedule under Head Coach Rob Charlton in his third season.

The Blue will open the season on October 23 at the LIU Shark Tank Challenge in Brooklyn, N.Y. Action will begin at 9:00 AM inside the Steinberg Wellness Center.

Wellesley will participate in the Vassar Invitational (Nov. 13) before the first Northeast Fencing Conference Meet of the season on Sunday, November 20, at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. The final event on the 2022 calendar will be at the Brandeis Invitational on Sunday, December 4. The Blue return after winter break on Friday, January 13th at the Tuft Invitational in Medford, Mass. Wellesley with then compete in the third Northeast Conference Meet (Feb. 5) hosted by Tufts. 

The EWFC Championships will take place at Drew University in Madison, N.J. (Feb. 18-19) and the Blue will host the NEIFC Championships on Saturday, February 25 at 10:00 AM. The season concludes with the NCAA Northeast Regional at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. on March 12 followed by NCAA Nationals hosted by Duke University in Durham, N.C. from March 23-26.
