Catlin, Kim, Caroline and Kate MacVicar Represent Blue Golf on WGCA All-American Scholar Team

Wellesley College golf recent graduates Caroline MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) and Kate MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) and rising juniors Norah Catlin (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) and Elizabeth Kim (Riverside, Calif.) have been named to the 2022-23 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team.

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the Academic All-District At-Large Team on Tuesday. Wellesley College golf seniors Caroline MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) and Kate MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) were among the honorees. The award is given to athletes who in addition to being impactful on their respective team, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and have achieved second year status at their academic institution.
Wellesley Earns Liberty League Women's Golf Coaching Staff of the Year

Wellesley College golf Head Coach Jackie Beck and Assistant Coach Terry Crimmins earned 2022-23 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year honors on Friday. Additionally, four members of the Blue made All-Conference teams based on their performance at the recent Liberty League Championship.

The Liberty League released its 2023 Spring All-Academic Women's Golf Team on Thursday. A total of 24 student-athletes made the team, including eight members of Wellesley College golf.Seniors Caroline MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) and Kate MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) both made the list for the third consecutive season.
Blue Golf Finishes Second at Liberty League Championship; Sets 36-Hole Program Record

Wellesley College golf set a 36-hole program record and took second place by a single stroke to No. 17 New York University on a day full of twists and turns in the Liberty League Women’s Golf Championship at the Par 72 - 5688 Yards Edison Club. Senior Kate MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) and sophomore Elizabeth Kim (Riverside, Calif.) both birdied the 17th hole to keep Wellesley’s championship aspirations alive but ultimately the experience of NYU helped the Violets edge out an eighth Liberty League title.

Sophomore Elizabeth Kim (Riverside, Calif.) and Senior Kate MacVicar (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) sit tied atop the leaderboard as Wellesley College golf had a great day across the board to control first after day one of the Liberty League Championship at the Par 72 - 5688 Yards Edison Club. The Blue were just two strokes off of a program best round with a 304, as all five of their players shot within five strokes of par. Trailing Wellesley in second is New York U. with a 310, followed by Union (366), St. Lawrence (380), and William Smith (394).
Blue Golf Sits in Fourth After Day One of Jack Leaman Invitational

Wellesley College golf sits in fourth place with a 318 team score on Saturday in the Jack Leaman Invitational from the Par 72 - 5638 Yards Orchards Golf Club. Williams and Amherst sit tied for the lead with 306 apiece, followed by New York U. (308), and then the Blue with 318, five strokes ahead of Hamilton and Middlebury with 323 each. Williams senior Catalin Yturralde (La Mesa, Calif.) shot an even 72 to lead the individual leaderboard after day one.

Wellesley College golf took second in the Vassar College Invitational on Saturday at Par-72, 5810 yard Casperkill Golf Club. The Blue (305) trailed only winning New York University (290) in the team competition. Wellesley held a healthy 15 stroke lead over third place Hamilton (320).
