Wellesley Lacrosse Releases 2023 Schedule

WELLESLEY, Mass. - The Wellesley College lacrosse team has released the 2023 schedule under head coach Lauren Schoenberger in her sixth season.

The Blue open their season on Wednesday, February 22 at Butler Stadium against Framingham State for the team's home opener. The Blue finish their two-game homestand three days later on Saturday, February 25 when they take on the Lancers of Worcester State. Wellesley begins March with two road games against Curry and New England College before returning home against Salve Regina. The Blue then travel to Smith for their New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opener on Saturday, March 18. Wellesley will then host Bridgewater State in a non-conference game, travel to Wheaton for a NEWMAC game, and finish March on the road at Southern Maine. The Blue conclude the regular season with seven consecutive NEWMAC contests in April starting with a home contest against Coast Guard on Saturday, April 1. Wellesley's final regular season game is on Wednesday, April 26 at home against MIT.

The first round of the 2023 NEWMAC Championships begin on Saturday, April 29 for the Quarterfinal Round. The Semifinals take place on Wednesday, May 3 and the NEWMAC Championship will take place on Saturday, May 6.

Schedule Notes:

Home opener: Wednesday, February 22, 2023 vs. Framingham State at 4:00 PM.

NEWMAC opener: Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Smith at 12:00 PM.

Final home game: Wednesday, April 26, 2023 vs. MIT at 7:00 PM.

NEWMAC Championships: Saturday, April 29 - Saturday, May 6, 2023.
