16 Named to Academic All-Conference Soccer Team

WESTWOOD, Mass. - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) is pleased to announce the 2022 NEWMAC Women's Soccer Academic All-Conference Team. A total 16 Wellesley student-athletes earned a selection. 

Leading the way for the Blue were seniors Danika Heaney (Palo Alto, Calif.), and Dagny McCullumsmith (Cincinnati, Ohio) who each earned the honor for the third time. Fellow senior Reva Sankhe (Mumbai, India) made her second NEWMAC Academic All-Conference appearance.

Juniors Marina Andreadis (San Francisco, Calif.), Coral Crossland (Park City, Utah), Remi Fernandez (Valencia, Spain), Alyssa Ing (Irvine, Calif.),  Paige Sangston (Greenwich, Conn.), and Cindy Zeng (Mill Creek, Wash.) each made the list for the second time. Classmates Thea Feldgoise (Brookline, Mass.), Diva KC (Greensboro, N.C.), and Izzy Sathy (Los Altos, Calif.) all earned the honor for the first time. Sophomores Marleigh Ausbrooks (Washington, D.C.), Sabrina Frusco (Houston, Texas), Carrie Huang (Seattle, Wash.), and Michelle Lim (Saratoga, Calif.) all made the Academic All-Conference Team in their first year of eligibility. 

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2022 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
