Blue Swimming & Diving Releases 2022-23 Schedule

WELLESLEY, Mass. - The Wellesley College swimming & diving team has announced the 2022-23 schedule under head coach Bonnie Dix in her 35th season.

The Blue will host three events at Chandler Pool in 2022-23, beginning with a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) meet against Wheaton on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Following the home opener, the Blue travel to face in-state rival Simmons on Friday, November 4. Closing out the 2022 calendar year, Wellesley meets Springfield and Babson in a tri-meet (Nov. 14), will hit the road to take on Mount Holyoke (Nov. 19), and head up to Cambridge, Mass. for the MIT Invitational from Dec. 2-4.

To open up 2023, the Blue will head to Mount Holyoke for the two-day Sisters Invitational (Jan. 14-15) with Smith, Mount Holyoke, Merrimack, Simmons, and Western New England all competing in the event. Wellesley then goes to New London, Conn. for a NEWMAC meet with Coast Guard (Jan. 20), before closing out the regular season with home meets against Smith/Springfield (Jan. 21) and senior day against Merrimack (Jan. 28).

In February, the team will compete in the 2023 NEWMAC Championships in Worcester, Mass. hosted by WPI. The four-day event will begin on Thursday, February 16, and conclude on Sunday, February 19. The 2023 NCAA Division III Championships will take place March 15-18, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.
