Blue Swimming & Diving Welcomes Diving Coach Gabe Bamforth (Jul 06, 2022)

Gabe Bamforth was named Diving Coach in July 2022. He joined the Blue after serving as the Assistant Coach at Charles River Diving, where he led elementary and high-school divers in dryland and pool practices.

Bamforth was a diver at Carnegie Mellon University from 2015-2019, where he set school records in both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter diving. Bamforth was also named a five-time NCAA All-American and received All-University Athletic Association Honors from 2016-2019. He graduated with a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a minor in Creative Writing.
