Wellesley Tennis Enters ITA DIII Team Rankings at No. 38

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- After opening the 2020 spring season unranked, Wellesley College tennis has entered the Oracle ITA Division III Women's Team Rankings for the Week of March 13th at No. 38. 

Wellesley faced four ranked opponents in the team's first five matches during the 2020 spring season, earning a 3-2 record. Wellesley's most recent victory came in a thrilling come from behind effort over Brandeis, who was ranked No. 20 at the time of the match. No. 36 College of New Jersey (TCNJ), No. 37 Vassar College, No. 38 Wellesley College, and No. 40 St. Catherine University entered the rankings this week.

For the second ranking release in a row, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is ranked No. 1 in the Oracle ITA Division III Women's Team Rankings. The top 10 teams in the country held steady in this week's rankings. Skidmore moves up three spots to No. 13 after taking down Williams College in a lopsided 7-2 match. Williams College slides down the rankings to No. 16.
