Alviar and Mu Pick Up Fifth NEWMAC Doubles Team of the Week Honor

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Blue tennis sophomore duo Melinda Alviar (Indianapolis, Ind.) and Annissa Mu (Saratoga, Calif.) have been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Doubles Team of the Week for the week ending April 10.

Mu and Alviar, who have recently been ranked the No. 1 duo in the Northeast, pick up the honor for the fifth week. The team picked up three victories in the No. 1 doubles over the week for the Blue. The duo began with a 8-0 sweep over Springfield and a 8-5 win at Mount Holyoke, before defeating the No. 1 doubles team of the No. 23 ranked Skidmore College.

The Blue will host Emerson on Tuesday, April 12 at 4:30 PM.
