WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley tennis duo of senior Michelle Shen (Dallas, Texas) and sophomore Cristiana DeAgazio (Winchester, Mass.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week for the week ending May 1.

The No. 2 doubles team of Michelle Shen and Cristiana DeAgazio went 2-0 for the week, including an 8-4 win on Tuesday over the No. 2 team of Babson to help Wellesley clinch the No. 2 seed in the upcoming NEWMAC Tournament. Shen and DeAgazio then closed out the regular season with an 8-6 win over Ashley Felix and Alexa Monos of Smith.

The No. 2 seeded Blue await the winner of No. 3 Babson and No. 6 Mount Holyoke for the NEWMAC semifinal match on Saturday, May 7 at 10:30 AM.
