Six Named to NEWMAC Cross Country Academic All-Conference Team
WESTWOOD, Mass. -- The New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has announced the 2022 Women's Cross Country Academic All-Conference Team. A total six student-athletes from the Wellesley College cross country team.
Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2022 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
Seniors Claire Anderson (Denver, Colo.), Ellie Murphy-Weise (San Francisco, Calif.) and Bethany Pasko (Wellesley, Mass.) each earned the recognition for the third consecutive year. Sophomores Charlotte Adams (Cincinnati, Ohio), Jesenia Lopez (Fontana, Calif.), and Alicia Naranjo-Champion (El Monte, Calif.) were each named to their first Academic All-Conference Team.
