Collegiate Career Honors:

• 2x NEWMAC Softball Academic All-Conference (2020, 2021)

• Did not participate due to Covid-19 Pandemic

2020: 

• 2020 Season Cancelled.

2019: 

• Appeared in 19 games while making six starts in the circle as a first year for the Blue.
• Finished the year going 5-7 with a team low 3.65 ERA in a team high 92.0 innings and 24 strikeouts.
• Made her collegaite debut on Mar. 22 against Trinity (Conn.).
• Picked up her first career win on Mar. 23 against Colby, throwing a complete game and allowing only one run.
• Threw a shutout against Emerson on May 8 in NEWMAC Tournament play.
• Also batted .218 with 17 hits in 78 at bats.
• Hit one homerun and had ten RBI with a .315 OBP.

Before Wellesley:

• Attended Westfield High School, and graduated in 2018.
• Was a single sport 4-year Varsity athlete in Softball.
• Helped guide the Westfield High School Softball team to three straight MIAA Division 1 playoff appearances in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
• Was captain for junior and senior seasons.
• Awarded MVP for 2017 and 2018 seasons.
• Earned All-League Coaches Selection during 2016, 2017, and 2018 seasons.
• Selected to 1st Team All-Western Mass Division 1 for 2016, 2017, and 2018 seasons.

Personal: 

• Daughter of Michelle and Marcel Moniz.
• Born in Springfield, Massachusetts.
• Has one younger sister, Emily.
• Chose to attend Wellesley for the incredible academic opportunities.
• Has a dog names Molly.
