JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – Wellesley College golf captured the team title on Sunday at the Jekyll Island Women's Invitational. First years Sarah Yeh (Danville, Calif.), Grace Sun (San Diego, Calif.) and Audrey Wang (Fremont, Calif.) all had top-ten finishes in a field of over 100 student-athletes.

The No. 12 ranked Blue earned the top spot out of 18 teams with a team score of 922 (311-299-312) over 54-holes. Williams placed second with a score of 928. Amherst rounded out the top three with a score of 936. Williams first year Emma Abramson (Sandwich, Mass.) won the individual competition with a 54-hole score of 223 (79-72-72).

Yeh carded a 77 (+5) on Sunday. The first year tied for second overall with a three-day score of 227 (77-73-77). Sun finished tied for seventh with a 230 (81-73-76). Wang carded a 231 (75-75-81) across the three days.

First years Aileen Du (Auckland, New Zealand) (236 - 80-78-78) and Sophia Lewis (Ventura, Calif.) (240 - 79-78-83) both finished in the top third of all student-athletes.

Classmate Kaurvaki Bajpai (Chantilly, Va.) tied for 37th overall with a score of 243 (85-78-80) playing as an individual.

The Blue are back in action on Saturday, March 30 at the Vassar Invitational. The event takes place at the Casperkill Golf Club in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
