Whinney to Represent Blue Track & Field at NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field Championships
WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College track & field sophomore Ella Whinney (Madison, Wis.) has been named an individual qualifier for the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. The championships will take place from March 8-9 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Norfolk State will be the host institution.
Whinney is set to compete in the Indoor Mile event. Prelims will take place at 2:35 PM on Friday, March 8. The Indoor Mile finals occur on Saturday, March 9 at 4:00 PM.
Whinney comes into nationals as the No. 15 seed with a seed time of 4:58.06.
