Wellesley Welcomes Luke Chiasson as Athletics Communications Assistant

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Luke Chiasson has been hired as Athletics Communications Assistant at Wellesley College. 

A three-year member of the varsity baseball team at Virginia Wesleyan University in Virginia Beach, Va., Chiasson graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Communication from in December of 2018. During his time at Virginia Wesleyan, Chiasson participated in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was the Managing Editor of The Marlin Chronicle. He also spent 3.5 years working in the Sports Information office at VWU, where he was an integral member of the team, assisting in all game day operations from facility management to live broadcasting all Marlin athletic events.

Chiasson returns to Wellesley after spending the summer of 2018 interning with PERA, assisting in all aspects of the department, including helping plan and run the first FOWCA Golf Tournament at Nehoiden Golf Course.
