Wellesley Athletics to Host Athlete Ally Games, Oct. 15-20

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley Athletics and the Blue field hockey, soccer and volleyball teams will be supporting Athlete Ally during home contests from October 15-20, 2022. Blue student-athletes and teams will be raising awareness and collecting donations for Athlete Ally at each game this week.

Athlete Ally is an organization that commits to ending homophobia and transphobia in sports by empowering athletes and organizations to use their leadership in championing LGBTQI+ equality. Wellesley Athletics stands with Athlete Ally, in working to provide everyone equal access, opportunity, and experience in sport with the hope that the funds raised can help Athlete Ally continue their activism in providing education and meaningful change in and through sports.

• Field Hockey vs MIT Saturday, October 15 at 12:00 PM
• Soccer vs Babson Wednesday, October 19 at 3:00 PM
• Volleyball vs Regis Wednesday, October 19 at 7:00 PM
• Volleyball vs Salve Regina Thursday, October 20 at 7:00 PM
