Four Named to NEWMAC Fall All-Sportsmanship Team

WESTWOOD, Mass. – On Tuesday, the NEWMAC announced the 2023 Fall All-Sportsmanship Team. Senior Kate Salembier (Sierra Madre, Calif.), juniors Maya Benway (Harvard, Mass.) and Carrie Huang (Seattle, Wash.) and sophomore Emily Brydges (Suffield, Conn.) represented the Blue on the All-Sportsmanship Team. 

Wellesley Recipients:

The All-Sportsmanship award is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each institution in every sport that best demonstrates the ideals of the NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct, regardless of their overall performance or statistics for the season.

NEWMAC Announces Fall Sportsmanship Team Honorees


The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) consists of 12 highly selective institutions committed to academic excellence: Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Salve Regina University, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
