Wellesley Welcomes Josh Podolsky as Assistant Director of PERA Communications (Sept 20, 2022)

Josh Podolsky was named the Assistant Director of PERA Communications - Sports Information in September 2022. Podolsky is the primary gameday sports information contact for all 13 varsity teams at Wellesley. Podolsky is a recipient of the 2022-23 United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA) Excellence in Communications Recognition Award, presented to individuals who provided strong communications, support, and/or press coverage of NCAA fencing.

Prior to coming to Wellesley, Podolsky was a Sports Information Intern at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. Podolsky assisted with stats, press releases, game recaps, gameday operations, updating Clark’s record books, and assisted with the Clark University 2022 Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony. Podolsky was also a five-year member of Clark University’s varsity men’s tennis team, which he captained from 2020-2022. 

Originally from Sudbury, Mass., Podolsky earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Political Science from Clark University. Podolsky then earned his Master’s Degree in Communications through Clark University’s Accelerated Degree Program.
