Wellesley College softball split a NEWMAC doubleheader with Wheaton College on Saturday at the Wellesley Fields Complex. The Blue (14-20 Overall, 6-12 NEWMAC) rallied to win game two, 6-2, after dropping the opener to the Lyons (18-15 Overall, 11-5 NEWMAC) 5-2.
Blue Tennis Falls 7-2 to Babson in Regular Season Finale

No. 44 Wellesley College tennis concluded the regular season with a 7-2 NEWMAC setback to No. 21 Babson College on Saturday. Wellesley clinched the No. 3 seed in the NEWMAC with the loss while Babson takes the No. 2 seed. The Blue will host No. 6 Springfield on Tuesday, April 30. Babson will face the winner of that match on Saturday, May 4.

Wellesley College tennis didn’t drop a point in a 9-0 NEWMAC shutout over Clark University on Tuesday at the Amy Batchelor ‘88, Trustee, Tennis Courts. The Blue improved to 11-4 overall and 6-1 in NEWMAC play. The Cougars fell to 3-11 overall and 0-8 in the NEWMAC.
