Wellesley Field Hockey to Hold Play4TheCure Game on Saturday, October 14

Wellesley field hockey will host its Play4TheCure Game on Saturday, October 14 (Frank Poulin).

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College field hockey and the NEWMAC will host a Play4TheCure game against Smith on Saturday, October 14. The game will be played in support of the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR). The event begins at 12:00 PM at Butler Stadium.

Play4TheCure is the sports fundraising program of the National Foundation for Cancer Research, helping to raise critical funds to prevent, treat and cure cancer, ALL cancers.

Play4TheCure inspires athletes to leverage their passion for sports to "Play4" loved ones affected by cancer. Throughout the season, participants establish Play4TheCure events that raise dollars to support cancer research. 100% of dollars raised through Play4TheCure supports NFCR-funded scientists.

All NEWMAC Field Hockey Institutions will be playing Saturday's games in support of NFCR.
