B.A. The College of New Jersey

Marissa Pennypacker joins the Blue field hockey program as assistant coach in 2016. She wil also serves as a Recreation Coordinator for the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics.  

Pennypacker has experience teaching the game of field hockey with multiple school and club programs, including most recently with the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North field hockey team and with the South Jersey Edge Field Hockey Club in Pitman, N.J. Pennypacker has previously coached the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North JV Girls Lacrosse team as well as with the New Star Lacrosse Club and at the Elite Challenge Invitational Field Hockey Camp.

She comes to Wellesley from Clearview Regional High School in Mullica Hill, N.J., where she most recently worked as a substitute teacher. She was also an active volunteer at the Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del.

A four-year student-athlete at The College of New Jersey, Pennypacker was a member of two NCAA Division III Field Hockey National Championship teams, helping the Lions capture the title in 2011 and 2014. She was also a member of the varsity lacrosse team and the Student-Athlete Advisory Council board.
