Wellesley Softball's Hsu and Young Receive CSC Academic All-District Recognition

WELLESLEY, Mass. - On Tuesday, Wellesley College softball senior Ingrid Hsu (San Ramon, Calif.) and sophomore Lauren Young (Fresno, Calif.) were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. 

The award is given to athletes who in addition to being impactful on their respective team, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and have achieved second year status at their academic institution.

Hsu batted .308 on the season for the Blue with 28 hits, including a pair of triples and scored a team-leading 14 runs.

Young earned five wins in the circle for Wellesley while striking out 42 batters over 81 innings in addition to batting .269 with five doubles and a triple this season.
