Blue Softball Announces 2024 Schedule

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College softball and head coach Keri O'Meara have announced the team's 2024 schedule. The schedule features 40 games, eight home double-headers and includes a spring break trip to Clermont, Fla.

Key Dates:

  • Home/NEWMAC Opener: Saturday, March 30, 2024, 12:00 & 2:00 PM vs Clark
  • #EarnTheW Day: Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 3:00 & 5:00 PM vs Dean
  • 2024 NEWMAC Championship: May 6-12, 2024

Wellesley begins the season over spring break at THE Spring Games in Clermont, Fla. with 10 games between March 16-21 against teams to be named at a later date.

Upon returning home from Florida, the team will travel to Nichols for a doubleheader on March 26. The Blue host Clark at 12:00 & 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 30, which will be both the first home and NEWMAC games of the 2024 season.

On Wednesday, April 3, the Blue host Dean for 3:00 & 5:00 PM doubleheader that will be a part of Wellesley Athletics' spring #EarnTheW Day. Giveaways and prizes for students and fans in attendance at the game will be announced at a later date. Following Dean, Wellesley heads to Salve Regina (Apr. 5) and Springfield (Apr. 6) for road NEWMAC contests.

The rest of April will see the Blue host Brandeis (Apr. 10), Coast Guard (Apr. 12), WPI (Apr. 13), Smith (Apr. 26) and Wheaton (Apr. 27) while traveling to Endicott (Apr. 17), Babson (Apr. 19) and MIT (Apr. 20). Prior to the WPI doubleheader on Saturday, April 13 at 12:00 & 2:00 PM, the Blue will celebrate senior day.

A home doubleheader against Worcester State on May 1 and a final NEWMAC doubleheader at Emerson on May 3 close out the regular season for Wellesley.

The 2024 NEWMAC Softball Championship will take place May 6-12, 2024.
