WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College softball will begin the season in Clermont, Fla. at THE Spring Games from March 16-21. Links to live stats and video throughout the season can be found on the team's schedule page.

Last Season: 9-22-1 Overall, 5-11 NEWMAC

Coach's Outlook:

"I am thrilled to be coaching this amazing group of 22 Wellesley Blue student-athletes. With 10 new players, 12 returners, and the most amazing assistant coaches, our plan is to work our way back to the NEWMAC tournament. We can't wait to start games in just a few days in sunny Florida. I am so grateful and honored to coach each individual in this program! Let's go Blue Softball!"

The Blue Print:
  • Wellesley placed ninth in the NEWMAC Preseason Poll
  • Sophomore Andrea Delgado (Miami, Fla.) returns after batting .315 with 15 steals as a first year. Delgado made the 2023 NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference.
  • Young also returns to the Blue after throwing 81 innings with a 3.56 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 2023. Young earned a NEWMAC Pitcher of the Week honor for the week of April 30, 2023.
  • New Assistant Coach Adriane Baird joins Coach O'Meara and returning Assistant Coach Claire Roll in the dugout.
  • Wellesley will host eight doubleheaders in 2024.
  • The Blue begin the NEWMAC season at home against Clark on Saturday, March 30 with games at 12 & 2 PM.
  • The team hosts Dean at 3 & 5 PM on Wednesday, April 3 as part of #EarnTheW Day.
  • Saturday April 13's 12 & 2 PM doubleheader against WPI will act as Senior Day for the Blue.
