Indyk struck out five while limiting the Blue to five hits. Senior Elli DeCleene (North Reading, Mass.) and first year Diana Borrison (San Jose, Calif.) each recorded a pair of hits for Wellesley.

Nichols started the scoring early with three first-inning runs. Junior Chloe Steiniger (Litchfield, N.H.) put the first run on the board by singling in sophomore Ava Slavinsky (Redding, Conn.). Junior Emily Gour (Westfield, Mass.) followed up with a single to left center that brought home a run. A second run came in due to a fielding error on the play.

The scoreboard still showed 3-0 Nichols heading into the bottom half of the fifth. Sophomore Bailey Littlefield (Saco, Maine) added one more run for good measure when a dropped fly ball allowed a runner to cross the plate. The Bison closed out a 4-0 win and Indyk earned a fourth win of the season.
