Wellesley Basketball Earns ECAC Tournament Bid!

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- The Wellesley College basketball team has earned a bid to the ECAC Division III New England Tournament for the second straight season. The Blue will continue their 2013-14 campaign as the #7 seed in the eight-team tournament, and will play on the road on Wednesday. 

Wellesley (16-9) will be play at second-seeded Endicott (20-7), who earned a bid out of the Commonwealth Coast Conference. Game time is scheduled for 7:00pm.

This is Wellesley's fifth appearance in the ECAC tournament, having previously earned bids in 2013, 2002, 2001, 1999 and 1993. Last season, the Blue advanced to the ECAC Semifinals. 

Wellesley finished the regular season ranked fourth in the NEWMAC, before falling to Babson in the conference quarterfinals.
