BOSTON, Mass. -- Wellesley guard Anna Greenthal (Orinda, Calif.) scored a career high 25 points in a 63-54 non-conference loss to Fisher on Tuesday night.

The Blue fall to 1-5 early in the year and Fisher improves to .500 at 3-3 overall.

Greenthal finished with 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting and made five three-pointers. Senior Valentina Morakis (Long Island, N.Y.) added 11 points on 50% shooting. Junior Taylor Hirn (Hermosa Beach, Calif.) secured a team-high 12 rebounds and added eight points.

Fisher was led by senior Alexia Mason (Inglewood, Calif.) with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Tatiana Bruno (Ridgefield Park, N.J.) scored 16 and recorded five assists. Junior Madison Kelley (Moosup, Conn.) posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

After trailing 8-3 early in the first, the Blue battled back to cut it to one. Camille Taylor (Boston, Mass.) made a jump shot followed by a pair of free throws from Morakis. Fisher would close out the first with a four point lead after a bucket made by Shaniah Hazard (Providence, R.I.). The Blue would open up the second quarter on the right note, with a shot made by Greenthal from downtown. The teams would battle back and forth until Wellesley finally took the lead off a made basket by Greenthal. However, Bruno would put Fisher back ahead by one going into the half.

Out of the break, Fisher would extended its lead four. The Blue would answer with Greenthal knocking down a three and a deuce to tie the game at 42. Fisher opened up the fourth quarter on an 8-0 run to take a 10 point lead. Morakis cut the game to just six after a made layup. However, Fisher's Bruno would put the game away with a pair of free throws and Wellesley fell 63-54 on the road.

Wellesley assisted on 14 of 20 made baskets, but struggled from the foul line shooting just 8-of-18. The Falcons were solid as a team, shooting 43.3% from the floor.

The Blue return home after the Thanksgiving break to host Worcester St. on Tuesday, November 30 at 7:00 PM.
