Wellesley Crew Races Against Washington College

In the varsity eight race, Blue crew posted nearly a 10-second victory over Washington College.  Wellesley came in at 8:07, while the Shorewomen finished the 2,000-meter course in a time of 8:17.55.

In the second race of the day, Washington won in 9:19, while Wellesley's second varsity finished in a time of 9:39. The Blue's novice "A" boat finished in 9:58, while its novice "B" boat finished in 10:03.

The two teams were also scheduled to race varsity and novice fours, but those races were called off due to increasingly rough conditions.

Wellesley is back on the water on April 10th, racing against Bates, Wesleyan and Tufts on the Malden River.
