Directions to Tufts Boat House
*To Tufts Boathouse on Malden River for Rowing 177 Corporation Way Medford, Massachusetts 02155
From the South (Route 93): Follow Route 93 North to exit 29: (Route 28/ Route 38). (You get to take the new underground artery and go over the Zakim Bridge. Stay to the left when you enter the tunnel). At the bottom of the exit ramp bear right onto Route 28 North Follow Route 28 North for approximately 1 mile to Wellington Circle. As you approach the lights get into the right lane. Take a right onto Route 16 East. In consecutive order you pass the newly opened Kellys Roast Beef, then you will see the MBTA train yard on your right. (This all happens within about mile). Take the right hand exit part way up the incline and follow it back around underneath Route 16. At the stop light go straight ahead onto Corporation Way. Go about 0.3 (3/10) miles and take a right at the first curb cut after you pass the Citizens Bank Building. Go in the long driveway and park in the upper lot.
From the West (Mass Pike): Take Mass Pike all the way into Boston until it connects to the new Liberty Tunnel. Then follow signs for Route 93 North. From the North: Route 93: Follow 93 South to exit 32: (Route 60) Medford Square/Malden At end of the exit there is a rotary take the third right: (Route 60 East) Malden/Revere Follow Route 60 East for approximately 1.7 miles until MBTA Station Continue straight on Route 60 East under MBTA Bridge, take first right onto Commercial Street Follow Commercial Street for approximately 1 mile to the light at Medford Street. Go straight through light and proceed approximately 0.5 miles. You will pass Cooper Street on the left. After Cooper Street take first left hand turn into curb cut. Go in the long driveway and park in the upper lot.
From the North: Route 1 Follow Route 1 South to the exit for (99 South) Malden/Everett As you leave the exit ramp you are on Broadway (99 South) Follow Broadway (99 South) for approximately 1.6 miles to Eastern Ave. Turn right onto Eastern Ave. Follow Eastern Ave. for 2 miles to the intersection of Commercial Street Turn left onto Commercial Street, follow it for approximately 1 mile Follow Commercial Street for approximately 1 mile to the light at Medford Street. Go straight through light and proceed approximately 0.5 miles. You will pass Cooper Street on the left. After Cooper Street take first left hand turn into curb cut. Go in the long driveway and park in the upper lot.
From the West: Route 2: Come in on Route 2 East to Alewife Station. Turn Left onto Route 16 East - 2.2 miles Take the RT-38 ramp towards MEDFORD SQ/MYSTIC AVE. - 0.11 miles Merge onto SOUTH ST/MA-38. - 0.01 miles Turn LEFT onto MAIN ST/MA-38. - 0.10 miles Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto CLIPPER SHIP DR Follow Clipper Ship Drive through one set of lights and around to the right past Medford City Hall (on the right) Turn RIGHT onto MA-60 E/SALEM ST. Pass into the roundabout.
