WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College crew student-athletes Jennifer Lamy and Hannah Woodruff highlighted the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) post-season recognition for the Blue, as each were named to the Division III Pocock All-America Team.

Lamy, a sophomore, was named to the All-America first team. The Chester, N.H. native becomes just the second athlete to be named first team All-America under head coach Tessa Spillane. Woodruff, a senior, was named an All-America second team selection. A Longmeadow, Mass. native, she is the first coxswain to earn All-America honors under Spillane. Woodruff is four-year letter winner for Wellesley, and has guided the first varsity eight boat since the 2010 NCAA National Championships. This season, she earned All-Seven Sisters honors.

Lamy and Woodruff have led Blue Crew to a record-breaking year. Wellesley took home the 2011 NEWMAC Championship, while also winning a Seven Sisters championship in the fall. At the New England and ECAC Championships, the Blue placed 3rd overall, marking the best finishes in program history.
