All In: Wellesley Crew Set For Return To NCAA Rowing Championships
WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College crew will make the program's seventh consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Rowing Championships on Friday and Saturday, May 27-28, at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center on Lake Natoma in Gold River, California.
The 2016 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Champions, Blue crew earned the conference's automatic bid to the championships after winning their sixth consecutive conference title. This spring, Wellesley also earned its best New England Rowing Championships (NERC) result in school history, finishing first in the overall points standings. At both the NERC and the National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC), Wellesley's Second Varsity and Novice Eight boats took home titles in their events.
The Sacramento State Aquatic Center is one of the best venues for spectators in the country. The spectator area is separate from the student-athlete area. There is great viewing of the race course complete with a Jumbotron screen with a live video feed from the launches following races. Tickets:
Tickets for the 2016 NCAA Division I, II, and III Women's Rowing Championships are on sale to the general public. All-session and single-session adult and student/senior tickets can be purchased online through the NCAA by visiting www.ncaa.com/tickets.
Beginning on May 27, tickets can only be purchased on-site at the spectator parking lot. Will call for all-session tickets purchased in advance is available beginning at 6:00 AM PACIFIC on Friday. For day-of-event ticket sales, cash payment for tickets will be the quickest method for purchasing tickets onsite.
Prices:
$45 for a three-day adult all-session package
$30 for a three-day student/seniors/child all-session package
$15 adult individual day ticket
$10 student/senior/child individual day
Age Requirements:
Children age 2 and under are free
Child/Student = Age 3 - College (with valid college ID)
Senior = Age 65+ (with valid ID)
*Please note: All fans must possess a ticket; the only exception is any child under the age of two. All fans possessing a ticket will be asked to show their ticket each time they leave the spectator area.

On Friday, the spectator parking is at 2300 Mine Shaft Lane, Rancho Cordova, CA.
On Saturday and Sunday , the spectator parking is at 12059 Foundation Place, Gold River, CA.
Spectator parking is located approximately 1/3 of a mile from the race course. It is an easy walk, or a free shuttle service is provided. The shuttle will be running on approximately 10-minute pick-up/dropoff intervals. Look for the shuttle pick-up/drop areas located at the front of the parking lots. The last shuttle of the day will run 30 minutes after the last race of each day.
