Barrett, Krishna, Liebermann of Blue Crew Receive CSC Academic All-District Award

WELLESLEY, Mass. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the Academic All-District At-Large Team on Tuesday. Among the recipients of the award were Wellesley College crew seniors Cora Barrett (Tewksbury, Mass.), Gaya Krishna (Houston, Texas), and Cricket Liebermann (East Montpelier, Vt.).

The award is given to athletes who in addition to being impactful on their respective team, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and have achieved second year status at their academic institution.

The trio were all a part of the 2V8+ boat that earned first at the NEWMAC Championship, second at the New England Rowing Championship, won the 2V8+ race at the Skidmore Sprints, and earned NEWMAC Boat of the Week for the week of April, 2, 2023.

The Blue compete in the upcoming 2023 NCAA Division III Rowing Championships on May 26-27 at the Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken, N.J.
