Blue Crew Announces Spring 2024 Schedule

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College crew and head coach Tessa Spillane announced the team's spring 2024 schedule. The Blue will travel to Maryland, New York and various parts of Massachusetts this spring.


Key Dates:

  • Season opener: Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Washington College Invitational, Chestertown, Md.
  • NEWMAC Championships: Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Lake Quinsigamond, Worcester, Mass.
  • New England Rowing Championship: Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Lake Quinsigamond, Worcester. Mass.
  • National Invitational Rowing Championship: Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Lake Quinsigamond, Worcester, Mass.

Blue Crew begins the 2024 portion of the season in Chestertown, Md. on March 23 at the Washington College Invitational. Wellesley returns to Mass. to host the MIT and Boston University Lightweights at the Charles River on March 30.

The team travels to Saratoga Springs, N.Y. to take part in the Skidmore Sprints on April 6. Wellesley then heads to Medford, Mass. on April 13 to race against Tufts, Bates, and Wesleyan. On April 14, Blue Crew races at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.

The 2024 NEWMAC Championships take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Worcester, Mass. at Lake Quinsigamond. Blue Crew returns to Worcester for the New England Rowing Championship on Saturday, May 4 and the National Invitational Rowing Championship on Sunday, May 12.
