WILMINGTON, Del. -- Wellesley College crew has tied for second place with Wesleyan University in the Pocock College Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) NCAA Division III Preseason Poll. 

After winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Championship, Wellesley's Varsity Eight boat placed 10th out of 35 in the Women's Collegiate Eights race at the Head Of The Charles Regatta this past October. The Second Varsity Eight earned 20th and the Blue finished 30th and 33rd in the Women's Collegiate Fours event.

Tufts University earned the top spot in the poll. The Jumbos won the Collegiate Eights race at the Head Of The Charles Regatta.

Blue Crew begins the 2024 spring season in Chestertown, Md. at the Washington College Invitational on Saturday, March 23.
