Hue joined Wellesley fencing as an Assistant Coach in sabre in September 2023.

Hue comes to Wellesley from The Ohio State University, where he had been the Director of Fencing Operations. While at OSU, Hue led the Buckeyes to two Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championships, in addition to the 2019 Midwest Fencing Conference Championship. Hue previously worked as a Technology Specialist in Fencing for the University of Notre Dame from 2017-19 and was the Head Coach/Owner of the Gainesville Fencers Club in Gainesville, Fla. from 2015-17.

Hue has a fencing referee certification and has been a United States Fencing Association Official/Referee since 2013.

Hue received a degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida. He served as a fencing captain for the Gators and was a three-time medalist at the United States Collegiate Fencing Championships.
