Wang Earns Liberty League Women's Golf Rookie of the Week Award
TROY, N.Y. -- Wellesley College golf first year Audrey Wang (Fremont, Calif.) has been named the Liberty League Women's Golf Rookie of the Week for the week of September 18.
Wang tied for first in the individual competition at the George Phinney Classic this past weekend with a score of 152 (77-75). Wang proceeded to win a playoff hole against Middlebury's Audrey Tir (Winnetka, Ill.) to win the tournament.
Next up, Wellesley competes at the Williams Invitational hosted by Williams at the Taconic Golf Club this weekend.
