Nettleton Grabs NEWMAC Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week Award

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College lacrosse sophomore Wendy Nettleton (La Jolla, Calif.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending April 12th, 2015. 

Nettleton made 15 saves in two games to help the Blue to a pair of victories on the week. Nettleton surrendered just nine goals to post a 4.50 GAA, registering a 62.5 save percentage and earning two victories to increase her record to 6-3 on the season.

Winners of three consecutive games, Nettleton and the Blue will look to make it four straight on Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM when they play at Emerson.
