Wellesley Soccer GK Reckley Named NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College soccer sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Reckley (Grosse Ile, Mich.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 22, 2017. 

Reckley posted back-to-back shutouts to help the Blue go 2-0-0 in NEWMAC games this week. Reckley made five saves in a 2-0 road victory over Clark on Tuesday evening. She then added seven saves in over 107 minutes of action on Saturday, as the Blue secured a 1-0 2OT victory at WPI, despite being outshot 16-12 in the contest. 

Reckley and the Blue will play their final NEWMAC regular season contest tomorrow, Tuesday, October 24, at 4:00 PM at Babson College.
