Wellesley Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches 2017-18 Team Academic Award

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- The United Soccer Coaches announced the team academic award winners for the 2017-18 season. Wellesley College soccer was one of 773 soccer teams (289 men, 484 women) to earn the award with a cumulative GPA of 3.39.

United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of high school and college soccer teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full school year. To qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).

Wellesley soccer will play again on Saturday, October 6 when they travel to Springfield for a 3:00 PM kickoff.
