Wellesley Soccer Draws with WPI on Senior Day, 0-0

WELLESLEY, Mass. - Wellesley College soccer drew with WPI on senior day 0-0 on Saturday.

Prior to the game Wellesley acknowledged four seniors for the contributions to the Blue. The seniors honored were Kendall Lincoln (San Diego, Calif.), Reva Sankhe (Mumbai, India), Dagny McCullumsith (Cincinnati, Ohio), and Danika Heaney (Palo Alto, Calif.)

Lincoln saved both shots on goal for the Blue (5-5-1 Overall, 0-4-1 NEWMAC) while junior goalie Lili Hellerman (Ashland, Mass.) made two saves for the Engineers (4-6-2 Overall, 0-3-2 NEWMAC).

Junior Thea Feldgoise (Brookline, Mass.) nearly put the Blue on the board at the 23:10 mark. After dribbling past her defender, Feldgoise curled a ball from 20 yards out that narrowly missed left.

The Blue take the road to play MIT at 4:00 PM in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Contest (NEWMAC) contest. The Engineers host Springfield in NEWMAC competition next Saturday at 12:00 PM.
