STAMFORD, Conn. – Wellesley College sophomore Sarah Zhang (Lexington, Mass.) opened with a victory before dropping her second match on the second day of the 2016 College Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships on Saturday at the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club.

Zhang came away with a 3-1 (11-8, 4-11, 11-9, 11-3) victory over Tufts University senior Paget Stanco (Rye, N.Y.) in the consolation quarterfinals of the Holleran (B) Division, defeating the Jumbos' number one player for the third time this season.

The morning victory set up the first career collegiate matchup between Zhang and Selena Maity (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) of Yale University. In the end it was Maity that would advance to the consolation finals with a 3-0 (11-2, 11-1, 11-8) victory.

Today's action concludes the 2015-16 season for Zhang and Wellesley squash. The Blue went 13-8 overall, while capturing the program's third consecutive Seven Sisters Championship.
