Four From Wellesley Squash Named 2016-17 CSA Scholar Athletes

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- The Women's College Squash Association (CSA) annually recognizes its top student-athletes for their academic achivements and this year Wellesley College squash had four honorees. 

Seniors Rhea Advani (Mumbai, India) and Ruby Feng (Old Lyme, Conn.) and juniors Meredith Curry (Medfield, Mass.) and Audrey Fok (Great Neck, N.Y.) all earned CSA Scholar Athlete disitinction for the 2016-17 season. For Advani and Feng, the honor was the second of their respective careers.

Scholar Athletes for varsity teams must be two-time varsity letter winners at the school she is currently attending, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and be a junior or senior that was enrolled at her present school for one full year prior to the present term. Additionally, CSA Scholar Athletes must have played a top-10 ladder position for the majority of scheduled CSA sanctioned matches during the season

Wellesley College finished the 2016-17 season ranked 28th in the College Squash Association with an 8-12 overall record.
