Boston Globe Recognizes Sticco-Ivins' 'Noteworthy Performances'

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College swimming & diving first year Maura Sticco-Ivins (Framingham, Mass.) was featured among the Boston Globe's 'Noteworthy Performances' in the Sunday, January 17th, Globe West edition.

The article highlights Sticco-Ivins' performance last week against New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opponents Babson, Coast Guard and Smith. The talented first year set a Wellesley school record with her score of 314.20 in the 3-meter (6 dive) versus Smith.

At the Seven Sisters Championship this past weekend, Sticco-Ivins also set a new school record in the 1-meter (11 dive) with a score of 515.50. 

Sticco-Ivins and the Blue will take on Tufts in a dual meet this Wednesday. The diving competition will take place at Wellesly's Chandler Pool, while Swimming will be held at Tufts.
